This accident claimed the life of David Butterfield, a father, a respected teacher, and a long-time trainer at Parkland High School in El Paso, Texas. Kristina Butterfield, his daughter, is currently fighting for her life in critical condition. She is a junior at Hanks High School, ranked 4th in her class, and a part of the Varsity Girls Basketball team. All of the camping trips we had, fishing, hiking, checking out America in the bed of Pop’s old Ford pick-em-up—we did a lot together. You will definitely be missed, Dave.
