UPDATE Azalea Strifler Missing Harnett County NC, She Was Last Seen At Spring Lake

Harnett County Sheriff’s Office activity has been stepped up to find 15-year-old Azalea Strifler, who went missing in the early morning hours of Tuesday. An Amber Alert continues as worry for her safety grows. She goes to Ascend Leadership Academy and is part of the youth group at Liberty church on Ray Rd.

Azalea was last seen at approximately 6:15 a.m. outside her residence in Spring Lake, North Carolina, a town located approximately 10 miles north of Fayetteville. She is a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

A K-9 was dispatched to the scene in an attempt to track the juvenile. Deputies canvassed the area. Both the K-9 search and the canvass of the area produced negative results. Deputies also interviewed numerous friends immediately after the mother reported the juvenile missing which did not produce any positive results.

The details of Azalea’s vanishing are still unknown, and authorities have made no announcements on a potential suspect or vehicle in her vanishing. However, they continue to pursue leads and ask the public to remain on the lookout.

Other relatives, such as Azalea’s mother, Cameo Strifler, have also turned to social media for assistance. Cameo expressed concern for her daughter’s safety in a Facebook message, stating that her daughter has been missing since Tuesday morning.

Despite continued searches and public requests, there have been no authenticated Azalea sightings beyond her last known area. Law enforcement officials now believe she remains in North Carolina but are monitoring for any indication that she left the state.

Officials are urging anyone who may have information regarding the location of Azalea to contact the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 893-9111 or just call 911. Citizens are also encouraged to call *HP for support.

In the meantime, the community waits with bated breath for the return of Azalea. Officials caution against responsible release of information and not conjecturing on matters that would complicate the investigation. More information will be released as the facts are known.

Amanada Gray requested “Wish people would understand that Azaleas family and her friends read what people are saying on the internet. Speculating and starting rumors is hurtful and detrimental. I know people have seen pictures of just her , but let’s make her more human. She’s someone’s daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, and friend. She’s more than an Amber Alert poster. Azalea if you see this, you are loved and missed. Everyone who loves you and just wants you home. We won’t stop looking for you. If you have any information please contact the authorities.”
